Hello everyone! Happy New Year…I know I have been quite for some time, Cannot believe how fast 2015 went by, it was a good year!!! Today, I bring to you a sweet bengali wedding. I was contacted by the brother of the bride – Saurabh, who had seen my work at a wedding. They were having a very intimate wedding of about 40 people and wanted everything as simple as possible. I met the bride- Sunaina, only on the day of the wedding. It was Saurabh who shared what the bride & groom wanted. I admire his love for his sister.
Once they finalised on the venue, we exchanged few emails and after a venue visit, He booked me for the wedding decor and they were ready to let me work my ideas. Once the colour theme was finalised, we exchanged ideas for the mandap only, for the rest of the decor like centrepieces, entrance etc. without any questions they let me style the wedding. They trusted me completely with their wedding.
They were open to my suggestion of the wedding photographer Cletus Rebello. He was booked immediately and again they trusted Cletus to do his job. As you can see the bride and groom were very happy with the outcome.
Words by the lovely bride Sunaina…
How they met:
The groom – Pradeep is a fashion designer, the bride – Sunaina is into Analytics. They met through an online portal. Although both of them are from completely different background. Pradeep is into creativity, and Sunaina is into numbers but still they instantly got connected when they spoke over the phone for the first time which went for 4-5 hours. Sunaina was really impressed by Pradeep’s voice, intellect and sense of humour and Pradeep found Sunaina a girl with beauty and brains. After a month of interacting over phone, they finally met in Delhi and both of them decided to be together forever.
Advice to other brides & grooms from them:
There is no proven formula, it’s just about following your heart and feeling the connection with your partner.
Feedback on the wedding decor:
We wanted a feeling of warmth and a touch of sophistication and I must say everything in the decor was well thought of and executed by Reena. Right from the decoration at the entrance, the mandap, the dining place, the stage and especially where the guests could write good wishes for the newly married couple, everything was perfect. We couldn’t ask for more. Thank you for everything. Vendors:
